BIOGRAPHY
Daniel is a Chartered and European Patent Attorney and authorized representative before the Unified Patent Court. Daniel has significant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a range of technical fields, including multimedia systems; medical, mechanical and electronic devices; eletro-optic systems; and software inventions.
Daniel is regularly instructed by clients of all sizes to undertake patentability searches and issue freedom to operate, infringement and validity opinions. He also has experience acting in a variety of ex parte and inter partes proceedings, including: revocation actions before the UK Intellectual Property Office; and oral proceedings before the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office.
After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a B.Sc. in Theoretical Physics, Daniel studied at the University of Bournemouth for a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property.
