BIOGRAPHY
With over 20 years of experience, Brendan Mee specializes in IP prosecution, strategy, and portfolio management. He proactively seeks to identify opportunities for clients to maximize the value of their intellectual property.
His work includes prosecuting patents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, representing clients before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, management of large patent portfolios, negotiating and drafting agreements, and counseling start-ups. He has been involved in the preparation of due diligence; infringement, validity, and patentability opinions.
Brendan is also a member of the American Chemical Society and New York City Bar Association, a chemical engineer, and a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Brendan’s clients range from start-up companies to Fortune 500 companies and include technology transfer offices of academic institutions. He represents clients in a wide array of sectors, such as MedTech, digital health, defense, aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, and retail.
